This course provides personnel, who could be assigned or work in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC), the skills necessary to effectively plan for and manage a large-scale incident by applying and implementing an all-hazards, multi-disciplinary, management team approach as described in the National Incident Management System (NIMS), with specific emphasis on the planning, resource, and information management processes. The course culminates with a scenario-based, simulation-supported exercise designed to provide practical experience with emergency management processes and decision-making skills necessary to effectively manage an EOC.
*Participants are required to use their own computer, tablet, or smartphone during the course. No group settings.
