This exercise will present a scenario involving response to a severe weather incident that impacts the entire region requiring activation of local Emergency Operation Centers (LEOCs) and completion of various tasks associated with each portion of the activated LEOCs.
Implement processes to order, track, and assign a resource(s) for a severe weather incident.
Core Capabilities: Logistics And Supply Chain Management
Develop and disseminate a situation report within 45 minutes of EOC activation.
Core Capabilities: Situational Assessment
Notify stakeholders of EOC activation and disseminate relevant public information within 15 minutes of local EOC activation.
Core Capabilities: Public Information And Warning
Activate the local EOC, following ICS principles, within 20 minutes following notification of an imminent severe weather incident.
