A staff member on break finds an unconscious person in their car alongside the facility's AC/air intake units. 9-1-1 is notified for an ambulnace to respond. On arrival, Ambulance personnel realize this is a hazardous material incident and the air intake could pull the noxious gasses into the facility.
Participants will reconsolidate residents and return them to the facility and ensure 100% resident accountability, in accordance with facility Evacuation Policy and Emergency Planning Policy.
Core Capabilities: Community Resilience and Health And Social Services
City and County emergency responders will, in conjunction with nursing home staff, evacuate the Clark County Nursing Home residents in response to a designated scenario, to the evacuation center, in accordance with facility and agency plans, procedures and policies.
